Fairytale winter in Helsinki
Where it is good to have a rest in the winter is in Helsinki. Fabulously beautiful city in the winter. Not very cold. A lot of interesting activities for this time of year. We drove in mid-December.

And do not forget to visit the legendary Stockmann shopping center. It has everything from products to jewelry. This is where you can get lost for the whole day.
The most important thing is to allocate time and choose when and where to go. We chose light time for visiting museums and attractions, evening time for rest and the last 2 two days instead of rest we were doing shopping. Continue reading
A wonderful family vacation in Side in June
We decided this year to go to Side in June. Why in June? Yes, because the heat there at this time is not so “wild”, and the temperature is comfortable enough. Looking ahead, I’ll say that we did not fail, and the temperature above + 30 + 32 degrees did not rise, and the water temperature was very comfortable, in the region of +25 degrees constantly. Plus, there were almost no waves on the sea, and given that our five-star Club Side Coast hotel had its own sandy beach, then everything was just super! No jellyfish to you, the water is clear and clean, despite the sandy beach – it’s just a miracle! All sorts of fish came, but they did not cause discomfort. By the way, the hotel is very decent, especially in terms of “price-quality”, a good pool – here are its photos.
Why in side? Yes, in principle, we did not live entirely in Side, but in the Cholakli district, where there are a lot of hotels and a great coast. And in Side he went, both on an excursion, and on his own. Side is worth it to come and so and so. Continue reading
Rest in Sousse and an independent trip to Carthage
This year, in early May, we decided to warm up with my husband and fly to the sea. The choice fell on Tunisia, and more specifically – the resort of Sousse, as we were approached by the ratio of price and quality. Of course, I expected a scorching sun and at least a little warm sea, and so I took a whole suitcase of summer clothes. Unfortunately, more than half did not come in handy for me, I went about where I flew from St. Petersburg. The beginning of May is Tunisian spring, the water has not yet warmed up, its temperature is no more than 16 degrees. Sometimes during the day it was possible to bask in the sun, but in the evening most often the temperature dropped to 15 degrees Celsius, plus a cold wind blew. But on excursions we were not knocked down by the sultry heat, as it would be when traveling to Tunisia in July or August! And the ideal time for a beach holiday is September, the velvet season.
