What sights to see in the Swedish ski resort of Auray?

The Swedish ski resort of Ore is an attraction in itself, because it stretched as much as 20 km along the shore of Lake Oreshen. There is no longer such an extended recreation area, not only in Sweden, but throughout Scandinavia. In fact, 4 settlements merged here – Ore-Byu, Ore-Duved, Ore-Tegfiel and Ore-Bjornen. They don’t have a clear border, they have already “penetrated” one into another in terms of residential infrastructure development, but for now everyone has their own ski slopes, varying in level of difficulty, ski lifts and light paths in the dark.

This area has been known for over a thousand years. The fact is that the Swedish Ore is on the way to Norwegian Trondheim. It is only 165 km to it, and even less than fifty to the border with Norway. In Trondheim, the Scandinavian pilgrims were going to bow to the relics of St. Olav, and the best road was just through Ore. Continue reading

Family Holidays in Stockholm

It was no coincidence that we went to Stockholm on vacation. Our very good friends went to this Swiss city 3 times already and always come back with new vivid impressions, happy and without money. All the same, Stockholm is designed for tourists with a class above the average, but we listened to all the advice of our guests and decided at least for a short while, to go and see with our own eyes all the charm of this city. Popular sea resorts are already pretty fed up, and in the summer it is very difficult to endure the beach heat and crowds on the beaches.

Arriving in Stockholm, we were convinced that the capital of Sweden is not in vain considered one of the most popular and beautiful cities in the world. Even his son appreciated the architectural greatness of the city and the fatigue after the flight quickly left him.

Immediately upon arrival at the hotel, we purchased Stockholm cards, which are most convenient for tourists, because they are designed for a certain number of hours, during which you can ride any form of public transport, even water. The cost is certainly high, but we justified it, actively moving to different parts of the city, visiting the planned sights. It’s good that for children there is a 50% discount on the card, but as a result, urban transportation cost us about 5000 rubles. Continue reading

Transcarpathia: impossible not to fall in love

From childhood, getting used to the summer holidays, we try to plan our holidays exclusively for July-August. Yes, it’s warmer in summer, and you don’t need to beg children from school, but is it worth excluding golden autumn, magical winter or blooming spring? Moreover, in Ukraine there are places where you can have a great time any segment of the year, and this is Transcarpathia.
