A wonderful family vacation in Side in June
We decided this year to go to Side in June. Why in June? Yes, because the heat there at this time is not so “wild”, and the temperature is comfortable enough. Looking ahead, I’ll say that we did not fail, and the temperature above + 30 + 32 degrees did not rise, and the water temperature was very comfortable, in the region of +25 degrees constantly. Plus, there were almost no waves on the sea, and given that our five-star Club Side Coast hotel had its own sandy beach, then everything was just super! No jellyfish to you, the water is clear and clean, despite the sandy beach – it’s just a miracle! All sorts of fish came, but they did not cause discomfort. Why in side? Yes, in principle, we did not live entirely in Side, but in the Cholakli district, where there are a lot of hotels and a great coast. And in Side he went, both on an excursion, and on his own. Side is worth it to come and so and so. After all, it is an ancient city, and here about all these restored buildings, including a wonderful three-tiered fountain, a well-preserved amphitheater, the majestic Temple of Apollo will be great for excursions, and when you come on your own, it’s just wonderful to wander around this ancient city, admire the harbor, “take a picture “at the famous columns of the temple of Apollo, which Side symbolize. By the way, the tour there is inexpensive, it costs about $ 25, and in its course you not only watch, but also drop in to Manavgat, where your lunch takes place at the waterfalls. waterfalls from themselves, however, do not represent anything, but you can have a snack against their background. By the way, we drove to Manavgat on our own, there is a good shopping experience, especially in the four-storey store “Waikiki” of the local popular brand.
But we were especially impressed by the trip to the Adrenaline big top where six motorcycle racers in the same ball in different planes ride at furious speeds, and then jump onto the stage from the springboard through the heads of the amazed spectators. There are still a few “deadly numbers” – with tightrope walkers, aerialists. and although it cost about $ 60, and to go from our Cholakli for more than an hour, the show gave us great pleasure! I definitely recommend it to everyone.
Well, and so, the main thing, of course, in our vacation was the sea, sun and relaxation, which Turkey, Side and our hotel provided to us in full. Among the shortcomings of the hotel, it is worth pointing out that although the bottom on the beach is sandy, there are “stones” that cause discomfort. And so, this hotel, of course, is not a “five de luxe”, which is reflected in the irregular cleaning of rooms and the arrival of maids at the most inopportune times. Yes, and in the restaurant one could have more fruit and variety in food, otherwise the chicken on the barbecue was a little fed up. But how could this prevent our family from having a good rest? No way! So the rest was just wonderful, and in terms of beach relaxation, and in terms of entertainment!
