Perfect stay in Sveti Stefan
This was our first trip to Montenegro. We chose the time to relax, having studied the information on the sites about the average temperatures of water and air. They decided to fly at the end of August. Tickets were bought in advance, in May, on the Victory Airlines low-cost airline website. For two, they paid 28,000 rubles. Housing booked through the Internet. After reading the reviews and looking at the prices, I chose Milyutin’s apartments.
They wanted to visit Sveti Stefan for a long time after seeing a picture of this wonderful place. The location is convenient, close to Budva. The situation in this village is calm, it will not be suitable for youth recreation. For couples, parents with young children – this is a great option. Milocer Park has a playground for toddlers. The air there is special, various vegetation, mountains and the sea. This is just an amazing symbiosis!
The time for rest, we chose is not entirely successful. In subsequent years, the error was taken into account. The best time is from mid-September to October 10th. The people are much smaller. The weather is sunny, the sea is warmed up.
There were no problems with food. The apartments had a small kitchen and a set of dishes. The village has enough shops and restaurants. We had breakfast in the room. Dine went to the restaurant Drago, there are large portions. Often, we ate one for two. They make delicious lemonade themselves. We ordered meat and fish dishes, everything is always fresh. There is a menu in Russian.
From entertainment, in addition to walking in Milocher, we planned a trip to Albania. The order was made back in Moscow. At the appointed time, they came to a stop where the bus was already waiting for us. We visited Shkoder, the Rosafa fortress, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the capital of Tirana. I recommend a tour! Very interesting, learn a lot about the country. You can buy delicious olives, fig jam and Skanderbeg cognac (let it not bother you at its low price, it is a good quality drink recognized at one of the exhibitions even by the French). Prices in Albania are lower than in Montenegro. A ride costs 40 euros per adult. We returned late in the evening, with purchases and impressions.
We went swimming to the island, next to the restaurant “Under the Murve”. Pebble beach, clear water. No matter how deep, the bottom is always visible. The sea is extraordinary here! Near the island of Sveti Stefan. We swam and saw tourists sailing from Budva to enjoy this beauty. They need to pay 20 euros per visit. We could do it for free) It’s impossible to see enough of the panorama, so it pulls back.
We went to Budva, the stop was near the apartment. We walked around the old fortress, went to the market, made purchases. Montenegro has very tasty products: dairy and meat. Goat cheese is sold, a lot of smoked meat (prosciutto). Regarding souvenirs, we had no doubt, of course, we would bring proshut and olives to our relatives. We drank Plantage wine, with the famous cardiogram on the label and the inscription: PRO CORDE (for the heart – translated from Latin). It was a treatment with enthusiasm))
Of course, it is worth going to this amazing country. Do not even doubt it! Having returned from there (we go on vacation for the third year in a row), I begin to gather there again. In this story, I described our first trip. For the first time, there were more emotions from what he saw. Mountains and the sea, clean air, products without any additives, fruits, all this you will find there. Praise you, Montenegro !!!
