Awesome vacation with friends in Odessa
This spring, I was fortunate enough to spend almost a month on vacation in Odessa, in the capital of humor and the sun. I just parted with the previous job and have not yet got a new job, so I was able to come to South Palmyra for the whole of May. Fortunately, my friends said that I can stay with them for free. Maybe I was lucky, but already in May, my vacation was as resort-like as possible and included bathing and sunbathing, the weather did not differ from the summer, but the influx of tourists was not there yet, because the beaches were as clean as possible. Therefore, I sincerely believe that going to Odessa in May is the best idea if the weather permits, and if you are not cold.
I opened the swimming season here on April 30th, they also bathed on May Day, like the whole month of May after that. The water temperature in early May was approximately 20 degrees, which for me was already quite comfortable.
As I said, I stayed with friends, but they, as locals, oriented me to the future, where it is best to stay in the city. Continue reading

Vacation is a special time of fun and carefree. In search of positive emotions and vivid impressions, many go to where they are guaranteed to get both one and the other, and even a little more. And, perhaps, one of the most recognized and famous centers where various entertainments are concentrated, where busy days are replaced by brilliant evenings and fascinating nights, where the real holiday of life is firmly established is Las Vegas.
Las Vegas Attractions
Of course, the most famous Las Vegas entertainments were, are and still are gambling. Countless casinos – one more beautiful than another – invite tourists into their chic gaming halls. Fans of hunting for luck spend days and nights here, hoping to wreck a large sum of money. Others – not so gambling vacationers – spend 10-20 dollars specially prepared for these purposes in slot machines, paying tribute to the tradition and the city that lives and thrives thanks to gambling establishments. First and unforgettable spring break alone in New Jersey County
It just so happened that I teach sociology at the university. Once I found on the site of scientific conferences one sociological, held in the town of Madison, New Jersey, in May 2017. And she decided to fly. A visa at the US Embassy issued just for participating in a scientific event. I note that for a scientist, any opportunity to travel outside the country is a vacation: new people, contacts, a new atmosphere.
I think that May is a pretty good time of the year for conferences. It was plus 15-16, it rained. I had to spend two days in trousers, a sweater with long sleeves and a light jacket. Even take an umbrella with you. But this is better than snow, because I had to go by taxi, especially in the evening.
I had to fly to New York. Departure from Kiev at 5.45 to Amsterdam, then almost 8 hours from Holland. In New York, she was at 13:00 US time, or at 20:00 Ukrainian time. Total 14 hours of summer and three hours by bus from Zhytomyr to the airport of Boryspil near Kiev. In America, it so happened that many universities are located in small towns. Continue reading
