The “severe” necessity made us choose the month of June to rest. The semi-annual cartoon ended on June 20. And since I was raving for the third year with the idea of returning to Nice, in March, without further thought, tickets were bought to the capital of the Cote d’Azur – the beauty of Nice. No wonder the Russian aristocrats and the royal family loved her so much.
One of the biggest advantages of relaxing on the Cote d’Azur is the simplicity and accessibility of movement. For one and a half euros you can go to any town or village of the Cote d’Azur. Transport launched very conveniently. And even if you choose the place of residence not Nice itself, but, for example, the town of Villefranche, then you can get to it without problems. Reverse side of the holiday on the Cote d’Azur.
Having settled permanently in Germany, we decided to drive Europe by car during our summer vacation. Having visited Spain, France, we stopped on the Cote d’Azur. This was our first trip abroad, since in our native Ukraine we did not go further than the Black Sea. We looked forward to the trip, having read before it on the Internet enthusiastic exclamations about this resort.
The first thing that upset me was the beach. It is small, narrow, and even pebbles, and not clean sand. But most of all I was outraged that the main road passed just along the main beach. Even to go to the Arabat Spit in Genichesk you can see a more attractive beach than this. More decent beaches were on the territory of expensive hotels, but since by law they have no right to protect their territory, there is no point in paying big bucks for a wonderful beach, as next to you has the right to rest any person who came to this beach. The color of the water of course in the sea lives up to its name. I’ve never seen one like this before – crystal clear and transparent! You could of course visit paid beaches, prices for which ranged from 40 to 50 euros per person. Continue reading
Impressive visit to Cannes Yacht Show
My husband dreamed for a very long time about visiting the famous international yacht exhibition, annually held on the French Riviera. And in some miraculous way, in September 2016, we got out there with the whole family. I must say right away that impressions are not comparable with anything. Eyes just run away from the beauty of the participants of the “boat festival”, from the level and lifestyle of local residents and guests coming to the exhibition! Despite the fact that I personally am not a fan of inspecting other people’s vehicles, it is simply impossible to resist and not visit the royal floating mansions!
The most vivid impressions of a walk around the city we have left from visiting the surroundings of the 22-meter-high Suquet tower, located in the center of the old part of Cannes. As if painted houses and shady streets crowded picturesquely on the slopes of the picturesque Chevalier mountain. Continue reading
Youth and family vacations in Nice
This year, the choice fell on sea vacations and we, with my husband packing our bags, went to the Cote d’Azur. We stayed in the neighboring town of Menton, but spent most of our time with friends in beautiful Nice.
In the entertainment town there are few except banal parks, museums, the old city and the like, there is nothing. Therefore, extreme people here will definitely have a hard time. We, in turn, occupied ourselves with walks along Angliysky Boulevard, narrow streets and along the promenade. Also admired the Flower Market and Place Massena. The old city presented itself as beautiful architecture thoroughly saturated with the Italian spirit (oddly enough) and tiny platforms with terraces of restaurants. They were engaged in eating ice cream and looked into the shops with the fragrant herbs of Provence. Continue reading

If you decide to relax in the winter, then go skiing. This is a very useful activity and a fashionable type of outdoor activity. The real center of skiing is Scandinavia. The countries of northern Europe are famous for their ski resorts. Among them are Finland, Norway and Sweden. Compared to other well-known European resorts, Scandinavian ski resorts are also organized at a high level. A ski infrastructure is developed here, tourist services are held at the highest level, but at lower prices than in alpine resorts. The countries of Scandinavia are famous for their amazingly beautiful nature and excellent climatic conditions for skiing. From November to April there is snow on the slopes; accordingly, skiers have the opportunity to enjoy the long season. The closest to our country are ski resorts in Finland. To list all of them does not make sense, since there are many of them for every taste.
